RASP ITALY (rasp.cumulus.dedyn.io) is operated as a personal, non-commercial service providing atmospheric soaring forecasts for pilots and outdoor enthusiasts.

2. Data We Collect

When you sign in using a social account (Google, Facebook, or Twitter/X), we receive from the chosen provider:

• Your display name (e.g. "John Smith")
• Your email address

We do not store this data in any database. It is held exclusively in your browser session and is deleted when you log out or when the session expires (typically after 24 hours of inactivity).

3. How We Use Your Data

Your name is used solely to:

• Identify you within the session (displayed in the navigation bar)
• Generate a username token passed to the RASP forecast service to retrieve personalised map access keys

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than authentication.

4. Third-Party Services

Authentication is handled by the following OAuth 2.0 providers. Please refer to their respective privacy policies:

Forecast maps are provided by the RASP service (Dr. Jack's BLIPMAP). Your username token is transmitted to that service to authorise access.

5. Cookies and Session

We use a single session cookie (PHPSESSID) to maintain your login state. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

6. Data Retention

No personal data is retained beyond your active session. There is no user database — logging out or closing the browser deletes all data associated with your visit.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict processing of your personal data. Since we hold no persistent data, these rights are automatically satisfied. If you have any questions, contact us at the address below.

8. Data Deletion

Since no data is stored beyond your session, there is nothing to delete after logout. For formal deletion requests (e.g. from Facebook/Meta), please see our Data Deletion page.
